M.E.F. Style Report

Pioneer American designer at Pitti Uomo AW20/21 Telfar Clemens founded his eponymous brand in 2005. Born in Queens, New York, he spent part of his childhood in Liberia, before moving to the US with his parents. He began designing and making his own clothes while still in high school because he couldn’t find what he was looking for in stores. In 2003, the designer began creating his own collection of deconstructed and reconstructed garments which he sold in New York City at the Lower East Side and Soho boutiques, before launching his own 100 percent unisex fashion label, Telfar, in 2005, showing in downtown galleries and clubs. In 2017, he won the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund award, and his clothes are now sold internationally at stores like Galleries Lafayette in Paris and Dover Street Market in London. I arrived at Heathrow Airport on April 11th 2019 at 11:15am, at that moment I realized how much I loved and missed London.   It was 22 ago I decided to figure out the world of fashion on the other end of the globe. My city of choice London, England! My return to London was long over due, every few years I would plan to a trip to return and then I would postpone.  But this trip was all  business which was my absolute  pleasure.  I had the chance to tour London all over again, there were so many more attractions and things to do. I was exhausted trying to schedule my 4 days wisely. The city has grown taller with high rise office buildings and condos everywhere, this was not the London I left in 1997. The purpose for my business trip was research for the expansion of M.E.F. Productions LLC.  This expansions includes a customized  Fashion Travel Division  "aka" M.E.F. Travel Experience. My journey to NYFW17 started on Thursday morning with a canceled flight  from Fort Lauderdale to Newark Airport because of the snow storm.  But as you know New York Fashion Week never stops.  "NO SNOW CAN STOP THE SHOWS! I knew that's so I waited until Friday and I was on another flight to NYFW17.  The schedule I created with my PR partner remain the same no  cancelation or changes.  So upon my arrival  I was off to my hotel to drop my bags off and I headed straight to the fashion shows. This year my company M.E.F. Produtions LLC had the honor of hosting seven students and two teachers from Norfolk State University  to NYFW17. The first show started at the Stewart Hotel and the rest is history. I will like to thank Poste Haste for all of our travel arrangements and Alphonso Reed PR for providing  an amazing fashion experience at the fashion shows.  

 Happy Monday Guys! I hope you had an fantastic summer. I've had the pleasure of attending many fashion related events these hot summer months and the guys are wining! Summer time is the  hardest  time to stay cool and look put together when its 90 plus degrees outside. So when I see a guy in a suit looking great with all the elements working against him I have to take notice. This summer I made people watching a game, but just watching the guys. "Sorry, but the guys were so much more interested. I loved it! I saw more red bottoms on men than women. The guys were wearing the luxury brand with ease and style. You know I love a fashion lions, but my radar usually  goes up in the fall and winter months. Fall and Winter brings sweaters, blazers, outerwear, boots , suits, wools and cashmeres.  But never in the summer would I go on a hunt for fashion lions. I can not believe what I've been missi...

Fall 2015 FENDI I paid a visit to my favorite fashion house Fall 2015 look book to get a taste of Fall . Why you may ask because I live in South Florida.  FENDI left me speechless, the leather is unbelievable, the colors and textures are brilliant. OMG! I want to wear everything. Which would be suicide in the 80 plus degrees fall weather we are having here in South Florida.  Sad Face!!!!   Every year I promise myself a holiday/ birthday splurge, this year I know who and what.  FENDI Fall 2015 is love!!!!.... And one thing I do know  FENDI Shoes loves Floridians .
