M.E.F. Style Report

D esigner and former reality star Draya Michele 's showed her Mint Swim collection o n night two of Style Fashion Week during NYFW. This show was jammed packed with fashion influencers, fashionista and celebrities. In the front rows  was  La La, Fabolous, Christian & Justin Combs and Masika Kalysha, Briana Wilson, Breah Hicks   to name a few. Draya gave her audience what they can for, the collection was over the top sexy and playful with a great color story . Its always  great to see swimwear in February especially when its 28 degrees outside. 

Dear American Fashion Leaders,   As the years go by I've grown to appreciate you more and more each day!  Designers   come and go but you remain true to fashion. You all have great success stories but your story didn't make you great!  Perfecting your talents made  you great and successful! As we approach New York Fashion week in less than 30 days . I just wanted to reflect on the past , lets go back 15 years. In 2000, New York Fashion Week wasn't about stars, paparazzi, after parties bloggers and fashionista.  Fashion Week was about fashion!   I was new to New York back then and I had the privilege of  working across the street from Bryant Park. As a student of fashion I knew what was going on in the tents. The rest of the world was kind of clueless. Style Saves is one of my favorite Non Profit Organization here in South Florida. Style Saves raises funds through fashion focused events in order to provide underprivileged students with clothing, shoes, and accessories. In collaboration with The Miami Foundation, Style Saves works with retail stores, designers and boutiques to provide these students with brand-new outfits for back-to-school. An amazing night of Swim Fashions for a great Cause!    

Are you ready for Miami Swim Week ? Miami’s annual Swim Week, a series of fashion shows, parties and trade exhibits will be slightly different next week.
