Style Saves Swim at Miami Swim Fashion Week

Style Saves is one of my favorite Non Profit Organization here in South Florida. Style Saves raises funds through fashion focused events in order to provide underprivileged students with clothing, shoes, and accessories. In collaboration with The Miami Foundation, Style Saves works with retail stores, designers and boutiques to provide these students with brand-new outfits for back-to-school.

African Fashions has been on fire for the last 10 years ! More and more fashion houses are being inspired by African fabrics and tribal prints. I'm African so I appreciate all the love for African fashion. Growing up my dad and uncles would wear their African attire to weddings, church and family functions ,so seeing men in African clothes isn't new to me . But to see the entire world rocking African fabrics in traditional and modern style gives me "Fashion Joy!"   For men, I personally like accent pieces to spice up your wardrobe. Happy Men's Wear Monday!   I hope you all had a great weekend. Now back to business "Yes, Ties again!" Not just your average solid colors, or polka dots and the traditional paisley ties. Let open our minds to Floral print Ties! "Come on guys you can wear floral print! I know we just met but I know you are man enough to wear a floral print here and there every now and then right ?   Let's just say I'm right! One because I love menswear and two because I always want you to look your best. Floral ties are a great option to add a little newness or swag to your wardrobe. I will admit floral prints are not for every man , but you are not every man .   Floral Ties are not so much a new trend, its commonly seen wore by groomsmen in a wedding party. Men's Wear Monday " Color Blazing or Not?

Happy Men's Wear Monday I'm back! "So lets get down to business, the spring 2016 collections are is the stores now! I couldn't help but notice the color palettes for men's blazers is a crazy explosion of skittles color candy! I walked the mall for exercise off course and I was drawn to the blazers , the colors were new ,playful, fresh and bold. My eyes are were unsure how to respond, so I guy watched in one of my favorite department store. Guess what? They were trying on all the different colors  the  salmon, yellow, pink, mint green, purple etc. I was shocked and very entertained. Some guys were happy and excited to see the colors but some were down right offended by all the color.   I definitely agree with both sides, not a good place to be as a stylist, but it's all depends on you. If colorful blazers is not your thing its ok! But if you like color and pinks and yellows don't scare you than Happ...
