Lauren Hill the icon,  no words can describe how I feel  about this fashion lion.  Her style is inspiring and ever evolving.  She is a talented  R&B singer and rapper.  A legend in the music and fashion industry . Lauren Hill is naturally beautiful and  confident with her own style and flair. She  took sometime away from the industry and can back like a lion. Lauren Hill  is the original "Urban Hippie" a Fashion Lion in everyway.  

Since the early 90's Lauren Hill has been breaking the mold and the stereotypes of black beauty and urban fashion. She was one for the few artist in the music industry pushing individuality and still is.  Her style  is positive,  fun,  playful, natural  and effortless. 

This is why Lauren Hill is a"Fashion Lion! These are some of my favorite  looks.

Men's Wear Monday" A little African in your Wardrobe?

African Fashions has been on fire for the last 10 years ! More and more fashion houses are being inspired by African fabrics and tribal prints. I'm African so I appreciate all the love for African fashion. Growing up my dad and uncles would wear their African attire to weddings, church and family functions ,so seeing men in African clothes isn't new to me . But to see the entire world rocking African fabrics in traditional and modern style gives me "Fashion Joy!"   For men, I personally like accent pieces to spice up your wardrobe. I can appreciate a full on African look from head to toe ,but only if you are that guy! But if you are not start out slow. Start with a tie, pocket square, then go into a button down shirt or a blazer all in moderation . Pants if you are that bold, but have fun. One thing I love about African men is their confidence! Colors & patterns are not an issue for African men it's all about looking good!

Happy Men's Wear Monday!   I hope you all had a great weekend. Now back to business "Yes, Ties again!" Not just your average solid colors, or polka dots and the traditional paisley ties. Let open our minds to Floral print Ties! "Come on guys you can wear floral print! I know we just met but I know you are man enough to wear a floral print here and there every now and then right ?   Let's just say I'm right! One because I love menswear and two because I always want you to look your best.
