We have more men's accessories to cover this Monday. Please be patient! These accessories ideas are just some suggestions on how to spice up your wardrobe. So we know from my last post your "Shoe Game" is very important to your wardrobe. But the perfect pair of Sock makes your "Shoe Games" more interesting and well put together. Your Style is a complete image of you. When you get dress your looks is from your head to your toes. So "YES" Sock are important ! The old faithful black dress sock will no longer fly.

FYI: Please never wear White socks , never , never! Always start slow if you only have black or white socks in your wardrobe. You can try small patterns or safe colors like browns, blues and greys.  But NO white socks PLEASE!

Men's Wear Monday" A little African in your Wardrobe?

African Fashions has been on fire for the last 10 years ! More and more fashion houses are being inspired by African fabrics and tribal prints. I'm African so I appreciate all the love for African fashion. Growing up my dad and uncles would wear their African attire to weddings, church and family functions ,so seeing men in African clothes isn't new to me . But to see the entire world rocking African fabrics in traditional and modern style gives me "Fashion Joy!"   For men, I personally like accent pieces to spice up your wardrobe. I can appreciate a full on African look from head to toe ,but only if you are that guy! But if you are not start out slow. Start with a tie, pocket square, then go into a button down shirt or a blazer all in moderation . Pants if you are that bold, but have fun. One thing I love about African men is their confidence! Colors & patterns are not an issue for African men it's all about looking good!

   Before we leap into 2020, let's remember 2019 for a moment. The word "Sustainability" was on every person's lips in the apparel and textile industry. The big brands struggled to survive in this B2C retail climate and new emerging brands tried to meet the new standards of “Sustainability” as a part of their business model. C onsumers have become increasingly conscious about their purchases. We now know we have the power to make a difference for the people involved in the making of our clothes and goods. But we are even more concern with the materials used to make our clothes and goods and how it effects our planet.  Q uite a few sustainability initiatives were announced in 2020. Brands, retailers and manufacturers want to operate their  businesses more responsibly. Let's see if 2020 we can really make a change for humanity and our planet.
